Sprinkles of Life

Every year Stampin' Up! brings out an extra special stamp set for the Ronald McDonald House Charity, they've been partners for a long time. This is the third year we've had a stamp set for this cause in the European catalogue, and oh boy this year's is a great one!
It's a set of 22 stamps! You can make trees, cupcakes, ice-cream cones and clouds with this set. Oh, and there are 8 different sentiments to cover many occasions.

The set is called Sprinkles of Life, and has a coordinating Tree Builder punch to go with it. For every one of the stamp sets sold, Stampin' Up! will donate £2 to RMHC.

Today's card was made using my featured Product of the Week, Cards & Labels Project Life Framelits Dies, normally £20.95 but until 11:59pm on 19 May they are just £15.71!

I cut the focal image mat using the 3" x 4" die, and the sentiment using one of the label dies. The pattern paper is the new Cherry on Top DSP Stack, there are 48 sheets in 4 double sided designs measuring 6" x 6".

I stamped and punched the bits for my tree, and you'll notice the cloud is the same shape as the tree top, so it goes with the punch too (as does the cupcake and ice-cream tops in the stamp set).

I used a stencil brush for the background (well a 99p blusher brush from the chemist!), but you could also use sponges, daubers or a brayer.

The tree, grass and tree top are all with 2 of the new In Colors Cucumber Crush & Tip Top Taupe... I love the names almost as much as I love the colours!

Any way, that's enough from me. I have dinner to prep. Happy crafting!

You can get this stamp set, the punch, the paper stack and new In Colors from 2 June 2015. Can't wait? Then buy the Stampin' Up! starter kit for £99 and choose £130 of not yet released products! Ask me how.
