You've Got This!

I know I promised something from stamp sets that won't be hear from next Wednesday, but I was playing with the new stamp set You've Got This, getting ready for my launch party next week.

I love this new set. As soon as I saw the background stamp in it, I had to have it! This will work so well with other layering stamp sets, like Butterfly Basics, Gorgeous Grunge and a new set that's launched next week.

The card is 6" x 6", I cut a 5 1/2" square piece of Mint Macaron and a 5" square piece of Very Vanilla. The background is stamped in Watermelon Wonder.

On a second piece of Very Vanilla I stamped the flower in Tip Top Taupe and some butterflies from Butterfly Basics. The butterflies were punched out, and I cheated using my Scan 'n Cut for the flower.

Behind the flower you'll see a white piece of thread, this is from the White Jute Ribbon, which thankfully is staying. I just pull out a strand of the jute (not my idea, bit of a doh moment when I saw it done!).

The flower is coloured with blender pens, as in my Technique Tuesday video here.

The whole card was done flying without a sketch, which makes me even more proud of it! I've made it for a special event, but seeing as I've found out recently the lady it's for reads my blog I can't share just why yet!

I promise, something from the spring / summer catalogue that isn't staying next time!
