Day 2 of this week's featured stamp set, you can catch up on day 1 here.
I'm posting a card a day using the same stamp set for a week. Each week I'll feature a different stamp set, and I might not always share a card. The posts are going to be shared between my blog and my Facebook page. If you're on Facebook, don't forget to like my page so as not to miss out on some of the cards.
So, week 1 is Amazing Birthday. It was one of the sets we got at Convention 2013 in Manchester, and wasn't on my wish list before I received it. I love it now and have not really used it as much as I should.
Down to the card, I've used Night of Navy, Blushing Bride and gold. The colour combo is from this challenge blog and the sketch is from Deconstructed Sketch here.
There's a few punches used, the new Triple Banner, the gorgeous Bow Builder and the tiny heart from the Itty Bitty Accents pack of 3 punches.
Once I'd finally decided on the colours, and just how much gold is ok, this came together quite quickly. However, I did mean to emboss the blushing bride card, but realised after I stuck it down that I'd forgotten... oops!
